If you're thinking about a career in a commercial kitchen as a cook or chef, or wanting to get an entry level job in a commercial kitchen, this is the course for you!

You'll learn basic food preparation and cookery skills, and how to store and use food safely. You'll also learn about kitchen equipment, and how a busy commercial kitchen runs. it's the perfect introduction to kitchen operations, and a great way to get started in this field!

This qualification can set you up to work in kitchen operations in restaurants, hotels, catering facilities, clubs, pubs, cafes or coffee shops; as well as kitchens within facilities such as aged care homes, hospitals, prisons, large businesses, colleges, airlines and schools.
