You’ll also learn about the maintenance and service of telecommunications cabling in buildings and premises. This practical course covers risk assessment, problem solving on DC circuits, fabricating and assembling components, working to drawings and specifications, and installing and securing electrotechnology equipment. Gain the hands-on skills you need in laying and connecting cables for multiple access to telecommunication services, using electric circuits safely, measuring circuit parameters, fault finding, and using power tools and equipment.
