Community-based learning can boost your skills and confidence, lead to new opportunities and the ability, if you choose, to go on to study, volunteer or look for work.

About Adult Community Education

Adult Community Education can assist you with foundation skills training in community centres across South Australia.

The courses are usually free or low cost, and you’ll learn in small groups or on a one-to-one basis in easy to access community-based settings.

Get skills for life

Strengthen your foundation skills in areas such as:

  • Reading
  • Writing
  • Maths
  • Communication and English language
  • Computer skills and using the internet.

Learn new skills at your local community centre through courses that incorporate cooking, gardening, art, English language classes.
