It is aimed to develop broad-based educational, vocational and personal skills, allowing them to recognise and access opportunities for professional and personal achievement. It is suitable for individuals who require:
- A pathway to employment
- Reading, writing, numeracy, oral communication and learning skills at Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) level 4
- A vocational training and employment plan, and
- To move successfully into either other vocational courses at TAFE or into Higher Education
