This qualification reflects the role of people who provide therapeutic and program-related activities under the guidance of an allied health professionals (AHP). Where appropriate, electives may be packaged to provide a qualification with a specialisation. Allied health assistants (AHA) cAN work in single or multidisciplinary roles not limited to health, aged care or disability services, and may have responsibility for other allied health assistance workers according to their scope of practice. At least 120 hours of clinical placement must be undertaken by participants to meet the assessment requirements of this qualification.
