This qualification reflects the role of people who provide assistance to operating theatre personnel. Course content includes training to assist with preparation of clients for operative procedures, handle and care for operating theatre equipment and interpret and apply medical terminology. A range of electives provide participant to focus on areas that are relevant and contribute to their own work context.
