This qualification reflects the role of pre-hospital and out-of-hospital workers employed who provide patient assessment, healthcare and transport services. The course content provides training in the clinical skills and theoretical knowledge to undertake patient assessment and pre-hospital and out-of-hospital interventions in an emergency, including providing advanced skills in life support.
